WESTWOOD PARISH COUNCIL - NOTICE OF MEETING

 

Notice is hereby given that the next meeting of the Westwood Parish Council will be held in the Parish Room on

Monday 12 April 2010 at 7.30pm

 

 

AGENDA.

 

1.       Welcome and Introductions.

The Chairman to welcome those present.

 

2.       Apologies.

To receive apologies for non-attendance.

 

3.       Minutes of the Ordinary Parish Council Meeting held on 1 March 2010.

To agree, and sign, the minutes of the meeting as an accurate record.

 

4.       Adjournment.

The Meeting will adjourn for members of the public present to raise any points of interest on any matter.

The meeting will then re-convene.

 

5.       Westwood Road Safety.

a.       To note any correspondence sent and received.

b.       To note the action taken by the Parish Council/Wiltshire Council/Community Area Board/NPT.

c.       To decide whether any further action is required at this stage.

 

6.       Neighbourhood Policing.

a.       To invite the Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) to report on any matters of concern.

b.       To advise the NPT of any matter that needs to be brought to its attention.

 

7.       Valley Parishes Alliance.

          The Parish Council to decide whether to join the Alliance.

 

8.       Bradford on Avon Community Area Board.

a.       To note any matters of interest raised at the Area Board meeting held on 17 March 2010.

b.       To agree any matter that needs to be referred to the Area Board at its next meeting.

 

9.       Sub-Committees.

 

Sub-Committee Reports.

 

Environmental.

a.              To receive a report from the Environmental sub-Committee on current key issues, including the proposal to plant new trees in the village.

b.              To note the request for ‘flooding information’ from Wiltshire Council.

c.              To note any reply from WC – Avoncliff Lane fencing.

 

Finance.

a.       To receive a report from the Clerk on the current financial position.

b.       To agree the payments to be made.

c.       To note the reply from Westwood School (Boundary Fence, ‘Adopt a Plot’).

 

10.     Date of Parish Council Meeting.

 

To note the date of the next Parish Council Meetings:

 

Annual Parish Council Meeting – Monday 10 May 2010 at 7.30 pm.

 

Ordinary Parish Council Meeting - Monday 10 May 2010 at 8.00 pm.

 

11.     Any Other Business.
