 WESTWOOD PARISH COUNCIL - NOTICE OF MEETING

 Notice is hereby given that the next meeting of the Westwood Parish Council will be held the Parish Room, Farleigh Lane, Westwood on 4 March 2019 at 7.30pm.

 AGENDA.

 1.       Welcome and Introductions.

The Chairman to welcome those present.

 2.       Apologies.

To receive apologies for non-attendance.

 3.       Declaration of Interests.

Members to declare any interests in accordance with the Code of Conduct 2012.

 4.       Minutes of Ordinary Parish Council Meeting held on 4 February 2019.

To agree, and sign, the minutes of the meeting as an accurate record.

 5.       Wiltshire Council Report.

To receive a report from Cllr. J Kidney.

 6.       Adjournment.

The Meeting will adjourn for members of the public present to raise any points of interest on any matter.

The meeting will then reconvene.

 7.       Community Policing Team (CPT).

a.       To invite the CPT to report on any matters of concern.

b.       To advise the CPT of any matter that needs to be brought to its attention.

 8.       Community Speed Watch (CSW)/Westwood Road Safety.

To receive reports on Road Safety and Community Speed Watch.

 9.       Working Groups Working Group Reports.

Cemetery.

To receive a report from the Cemetery Working Group and the Clerk on current key issues and to agree any actions.

 Planning.

a.       To note the status of extant planning applications:

Oak Tree on TPO W/08/00008/Ind/T1. I would like to rebalance the canopy on the East Side by approx.. 3 metres, and reduce the height of the tree by approx. 2 metres. In addition remove any dead wood within the canopy.

 b.       To examine any planning applications received after 26 February 2019 and to agree the comments to be sent to Wiltshire Council.

c.       To review/note any other planning matters.

 Finance.

a.       To receive a report from the Clerk on the current financial position.

b.       To decide whether to accept the tender for the Open Space Maintenance contract.

c.       To agree to make the financial contribution of £355 towards the installation of new road signs at Jones Hill.

d.       To agree to contribute £250 (maximum) towards the refurbishment of the Telephone Kiosk at Upper Westwood.

e.       To agree the payments to be made.

 Environmental/Highways.

a.       To receive a report from the Environmental Working Group and to agree any necessary action.

b.       To note the response from Wiltshire Council/Bradford on Avon Town Council in respect of additional road signs at Jones Hill and to decide if any further action is necessary.

c.       To note the request for Grit Bins (Chestnut Grove and Staples Hill) and a new ‘Wiltshire’ sign at the County boundary (Staples Hill) and to decide the action to be taken.

d.       To note the request for the Dog Waste Bin at Upper Westwood/The Pastures to be relocated and to decide the action to be taken.

e.       To note any other related matters and to decide the action to be taken.

 Open Spaces.

To receive a report from the Open Spaces Working Group and to agree any necessary action.

 Footpaths.

a.       To receive a report on the Footpath Working Group Rights of Way Survey results (February) and to agree any necessary action.

b.       To note any other related matters and to decide the action to be taken.

 10.     Bradford on Avon Area Board/Community Area Transport Group (CATG).

To note any other matters relevant to Westwood that were raised at those recent meetings not already reported and/or that need to be presented at the forthcoming meetings.

 11.     Neighbourhood Plan.

To receive a progress report on the Neighbourhood Plan/Rural Housing Needs Survey and to agree any further actions necessary.

 12.     Local Government Boundary Review.

To decide the comments to be sent in response to this consultation.

 13.     Date of Next Meeting.

To note the date of the next Parish Council Meeting:

 ·         Ordinary PC Meeting 1 April 2019 at 7.30pm.

 14.     Any Other Business.

Exchange of views on matters not requiring a decision.
