Westwood Mothers Union

 

Welcome to the Westwood Branch of the Mothers Union (MU). The MU is an organisation of 3.6 million Christians in over seventy eight countries who give money, experience and prayer to support marriage and family life.

The MU was founded by Mary Sumner in 1876. The headquarters is in London at Mary Sumner House, Tufton Street, Westminster. This was purchased by members in the 1920s.

In Westwood our branch meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 2pm in members homes. Visitors and friends are always welcome.

Mothers Union

We meet again on Tuesday 24th April 2012 at 2pm at 92 Winsley Rd, Bradford on Avon, the home of Christine Cordey. The speaker will be The Rev. David Drifcoll.
On Tuesday 22nd May at 2pm, our speaker will be Marlene Haffenden, MU Deanery chairman. The venue will be with Anne Holt, 151 Upper Westwood.
On Friday May 11th we will be holding a lunch at 38, The Pastures. This will be for mothers/carers and children under five and will take place from 12-2.30 pm. Please contact Mary Needham if you would like to come.
We meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 2pm in members' homes. Transport can be arranged. We are a small group but visitors and friends are always welcome at our meetings.
